Brazil: Atlantic Rainforests

The Mata Atlântica, Brazil’s Atlantic rainforests, is an endangered ecosystem that is a global conservation priority and protects more endemic species of flora and fauna than any other region in the neotropics. International Expeditions' Brazil tour in the Atlantic rainforest includes the scenically romantic city of Rio de Janeiro, distinct peaks of Serra dos Orgaos mountain range and Poço das Antas Biological Reserve, the last refuge of the beautiful golden lion tamarin.
