Meru, the Dik DIk Hotel takes its name from one of the smallest gazelles in Africa, which lives on the nearby mountain slopes. Each of the ten spacious tents features running water including attached toilet and hot water showers, and 220 volt solar power is available 24 hours a day. Ngorongoro FarmhouseNestled into a 500-acre coffee farm, the Ngorongoro Farm House is an exclusive lodge facing the Oldeani Volcano. While here, enjoy afternoons swimming in the pool with views of the volcano or nights around the fireplace, perfect for cool evenings in the highlands. Delicious homemade meals are made using the dairy and fresh vegetables produced year-round on the farm. Rooms are decorated in old colonial style using local materials. Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (2010)The Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is elegantly built mainly from natural stone and local wood and timber, and offers panoramic views of the crater’s great bowl. All the beds are provided with mosquito nets over the air vents.
