La Croix du Sud is a colonial style structure designed over two levels around a courtyard garden. Madagascar's historic links to France are clear in the steep sloping metal roofs and ornate wooden carvings along the roof line. All of the 30 rooms face inwards to the courtyard. Inside rooms are clean and fresh looking, with brightly painted walls and large windows looking out into the garden. Each room has satellite television, air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
