Mark Twain said: "India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grand mother of tradition. Our most valuable and most instructive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only."

Since no one can use words to better describe India's intoxicating blend of history, religion, nature and culture,  we'd like to share some of the guest photos that were recently submitted via International Expeditions' Flickr group.

Rose-ringed parakeet at KhajurahoGuests were able to capture amazing photos of India's Bengal tigers during an elephant-back safari in Bandhavgarh National Park, but nothing says "mix of nature and culture" like this photo of rose-ringed parakeets on the carved walls of Khajuraho!

We were thrilled to use photos by our India Tiger Safari guests Gordon and Sarah Gould and W.O. Crane in our recent Southeast Asia & India brochure. Order your copy of the brochure today!
