Relais des Plateaux – Antananarivo (Ivato area)
Opened in 2005, Relais des Plateaux enjoys a wonderful location only ten minutes from the international airport. All rooms feature flat screen TV with satellite, free Wi-Fi, minibar, safe, hot and cold water shower in en suite bathrooms. Furniture and décor are made locally while rice and other items served in the restaurant support farm cooperatives. The hotel features a wonderful pool.
Vakona Forest Lodge – Perinet Reserve
Located near a traditional village and on the doorstep of the Andasibe National Park, Vakona Forest Lodge is a nature lover's paradise. Each of the 24 charming bungalows is surrounded by luxuriant gardens and features a terrace/balcony to take in the peaceful setting. Berenty Lodge – Berenty Reserve
The simple accommodations at Berenty Lodge, the reserve’s only hotel, are designed to blend with nature and provide a comfortable base for exploring Madagascar’s oldest and most famous reserve, Berenty. Berenty Lodge is arguably the best place on our Madagascar safari to observe lemurs up-close.
Please note that Berenty Lodge is also known as Gite d’Berenty and Gite d’Etape. They are the same property known by different names.
Camp Amoureux – Kirindy Reserve
Located close to the famous Avenue of Baobabs, Le Camp Amoureux is a simple but well looked after camp. Our spacious tented bungalows are set amid the forest on raised wooden decking with a veranda. Your en suite facilities include a flushing toilet with sink, with a simple bucket shower outside, for which hot water can be requested. The main bar and dining area are set round a two story structure, with the bar and comfortable sofas on top and food served underneath.
La Croix du Sud – Fort Dauphin
La Croix du Sud is a colonial style structure designed over two levels around a courtyard garden. Madagascar's historic links to France are clear in the steep sloping metal roofs and ornate wooden carvings along the roof line. All of the 30 rooms face inwards to the courtyard. Inside rooms are clean and fresh looking, with brightly painted walls and large windows looking out into the garden. Each room has satellite television, air-conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
Palissandre Côte Ouest Resort and Spa – Morondava
Palissandre Cote Ouest Resort and Spa is an international class hotel located in Nosy Kely Morondava. The hotel is constructed with local materials (granite, palissandre wood and mokotry). Each of the 30 bungalows features a private terrace with a view on the sea. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, individual safety box, mini-bar and hair dryer. A professional spa team offer massages with local essentials oils.
